Such good advice in here! Especially about finding YOUR favorites (not necessarily the "smart" or "popular" book du jour) and liberally DNF-ing! And THANK YOU for the shout out for BACK WHERE WE STARTED!

Love Grace and all of this advice! Completely agree that audiobooks count as reading, it’s the only way I get any reading done during the newborn phase.

Yes to all of this! DNFing is legal in all states!! I've also gotten better at being gentle but honest and telling friends who have "no time to read" that reading for ten minutes is still reading. It might require putting your phone in a drawer (maybe that's just me?) for ten minutes, but it's not impossible.

A great reminder. Thank you. DNF yes! Life is way too short. My rule is 30 pages.

This is excellent! Thank you! I’ve been working on my 100 book goal this year and those are excellent tips. I always felt so much pressure to finish books I started, but now if I start to read a book and don’t finish it, it’s ok. Maybe it’s just the wrong moment in my life for that book.

I agree with all mentioned. Glad to have you affirm that audio is reading. Yeah!
