Oh, Jenna! Reading the dedication I was reminded of the weekly visits my mom (who died suddenly in 2018) and I would make in the ‘80s to our neighborhood public library in Alabama. In the children’s section there was a carpeted sunken reading area with bean bag chairs and pillows—I loved it so much that I really think it somehow still informs my vision of a perfect reading environments
I got chills reading Shannon Garvey's dedication to her mom. This book is my next read for sure.
